SAGLIN-RZJD-G · 2 CONFIGURATIONS
Flat-Bottom
Food Bag Machine
High-speed flat-bottom (square / sharp bottom) paper bag production for food, bakery, and quick-serve packaging — two configurations from 70 to 350 mm bag width, with thin-paper compatibility from 35 g/m².
The food packaging differentiation play.
Thin paper. High speed. Blue ocean margins.
The SAGLIN-RZJD-G series is the differentiation play in the SAGLIN paper bag range. While the retail shopping bag market (SAGLIN-RZFD) is mature and price-competitive, the food and bakery segment remains structurally underserved by Chinese machinery — most twisted-rope and flat-handle machines cannot run the thin paper (35–60 g/m²) that food applications demand.
“For converters entering paper bag production, the food and bakery segment is the blue ocean — high margin, growing demand, and almost no Chinese competition running the thin paper that food applications require.”
Two flat-bottom configurations cover the food-bag spectrum: the RZJD-G250J for small confectionery, bakery, and snack items up to 250 mm wide, and the flagship RZJD-G350J running at up to 580 pcs/min for the volume food bag market up to 350 mm wide. Both accept an optional inline flexographic printing unit and an optional see-through window unit for branded food and beverage bags.
Every SAGLIN-RZJD-G machine ships with electrical and pneumatic specifications adapted for the Russian market (380V / 50Hz, EAC support). Installation, commissioning, and operator training are handled by our partner HD RUS LLC in the Moscow region.

The RZJD-G350J reaches its 580 pcs/min peak (120 m/min web speed) on shorter bag lengths with 35–50 g/m² thin paper; the RZJD-G250J peaks at 500 pcs/min (90 m/min). Sustained speeds drop on heavier paper (60–80 g/m²) and longer bag formats. Both models include a 5 kW hot-melt gluing module for clean high-speed flat-bottom forming and are offered in an optional see-through window version. Specifications subject to continuous improvement.
35 g/m² compatibility opens the food bag market.
Most Chinese shopping-bag machines cannot run paper lighter than 80 g/m². This is the single largest barrier blocking shopping-bag converters from entering the food and bakery segment — where customer specifications routinely require 35–60 g/m² thin paper for cost efficiency, breathability, and recyclability.
The SAGLIN-RZJD-G series is engineered from the unwinding station onward for thin-paper handling: an EPC web-guide with constant-tension control and a magnetic powder brake prevent tearing during high-speed feed, German LENZE motion control modulates web tension precisely, and the flat-bottom forming geometry with Swiss Robatech hot-melt gluing produces clean square bottoms without creasing.
For converters, this means access to the food and bakery segment — a market with roughly three times the unit volume of premium retail bags and growing structurally as plastic-packaging bans accelerate across the EU, Russia, and CIS.
- Bakery and pastry bags (35–50 g/m²)
- Quick-serve restaurant takeaway (50–60 g/m²)
- Confectionery and snack packaging (35–45 g/m²)
- Coffee and tea retail bags (45–60 g/m² with window option)
Thin-Paper Compatibility Floor
The 35 g/m² thin-paper floor on both the RZJD-G250J and RZJD-G350J is the differentiator that opens the food and bakery segment to converters that would otherwise be locked into the saturated retail shopping-bag market.
Eight features for high-speed food bag production.
The RZJD-G series is engineered for the highest-speed segment of paper bag production. Here is what differentiates the series from generic flat-bottom food bag machines.
Thin-Paper Compatibility
The 35 g/m² paper floor on both configurations opens the food and bakery segment. Most competing shopping-bag machines floor at 80 g/m².
German LENZE Motion Control
LENZE PC motion controller integrated with optical fiber on both models. Critical for sustained high-speed operation with thin paper.
SICK Optical Detection
German SICK photoelectric eye correction with optical fiber tracking. Precisely tracks printed bag dimensions on inline flexo configurations.
German LENZE Servo Motor
German original LENZE servo motor paired with SICK photoelectric correction. Engineered for high-cycle reliability at 580 pcs/min sustained.
LENZE Touchscreen HMI
German original LENZE touchscreen human-machine interface with clear function display for easy operator control. Multi-language (EN / RU / ZH).
Swiss Robatech Hot-Melt
Swiss Robatech hot-melt gluing machine with automatic gluing gun jet — no interruption at high speed, clean flat-bottom forming.
Optional See-Through Window
Factory-fit window unit applies a transparent film (OPP / PET, 0.022–0.035 mm) for coffee, tea, and confectionery bags with a viewing window.
Optional Inline Flexo Printing
Factory-fit flexographic printing unit, up to 1000 mm material width and 5–100 m/min print speed. Branded food bags directly from the kraft roll.
Where the RZJD-G performs.
The RZJD-G series is designed for the four highest-volume flat-bottom food bag segments. The RZJD-G350J covers the volume formats; the RZJD-G250J anchors small-format confectionery and snack production.
Bread & Pastry Bags
The RZJD-G350J is the default for bakery production — up to 580 pcs/min with 35–50 g/m² thin paper is the industry-leading combination for bread, croissant, and pastry bag converters.
Takeaway & Fast-Food
The RZJD-G350J handles takeaway formats up to 350 mm wide for fast-food chains and quick-serve carriers, running 50–70 g/m² paper for strength on hot food.
Sweets & Snack Bags
The RZJD-G250J anchors confectionery and snack production — small format (70–250 mm) with 35 g/m² thin-paper compatibility for cost-efficient unit production.
Branded Beverage Bags
Coffee bean retail bags, tea packaging, and specialty beverage bags. The optional window unit displays product through the bag — a key feature for premium coffee branding.
Built with global-brand components.
No compromise to lower the price point. The RZJD-G series uses German LENZE motion control and servo drive throughout, with Swiss Robatech hot-melt gluing as the flat-bottom forming standard.
