Every SAGLIN finishing line starts with the same foundation: the SAGLIN-GST-1060 full-automatic stop-cylinder screen press. Stop-cylinder technology delivers the registration accuracy (≤0.1 mm) and consistency that premium decoration demands, at speeds up to 4,000 sheets per hour. From that base, you splice on the finishing unit your packaging mix requires.

Three configurations cover the premium packaging spectrum. The cold foil line is the volume workhorse for metallic decoration. Add a hologram cast & cure unit for anti-counterfeit security. Or run a dedicated spot UV coating line for high-gloss and textured varnish effects. All three share the same screen-press base, the same modular splicing design, and the same global-brand component standard.

Every line ships with electrical and pneumatic specifications adapted for the Russian and CIS markets (380V / 50Hz, EAC support), and is installed and commissioned by our partner HD RUS LLC in the Moscow region.

Which of the three lines should I start with?
All three share the same SAGLIN-GST-1060 stop-cylinder screen press base — the difference is the finishing unit spliced onto it. Start with the Screen Cold Foil Stamping Line (GST-1060 + GUVY-1060CS) if metallic decoration is your volume work: cold foil plus spot UV on one pass, the workhorse for cosmetics, wine and spirits cartons and luxury boxes. Choose the Cold Foil & Hologram Transfer Line (GUVY-1060ACS) when customers require anti-counterfeit features — tobacco, alcohol and pharmaceutical packaging — since hologram cast & cure produces the tear-and-no-film characteristic that composite lamination cannot replicate. Choose the Screen Spot UV Coating Line (GUV/IR-1060) if your work is high-gloss, spot-gloss and tactile wrinkle-texture varnish rather than metallic decoration.
Why cold foil instead of hot foil stamping?
Cold foil transfers through a UV-curable adhesive at room temperature, so there are no engraved dies and no heat management. Three consequences matter commercially. First, artwork changes are made with screens and plates only — no die lead time, so short runs and frequent design changes stop being a cost problem. Second, room-temperature curing removes the energy load of heated stamping dies, roughly halving the energy consumed for the same decoration. Third, the process runs inline with spot UV and, on the ACS configuration, hologram transfer, so three premium decorations are applied in a single pass instead of three separate handling steps. Hot stamping still has its place on very small, very fine detail work; for metallic area coverage on packaging, cold foil is the volume answer. Can I add hologram or spot UV later, or must I buy the full line now?
You can add later. The lines use a modular splicing design around a common screen-press base — compact structure, strong compatibility — so an additional finishing module is bolted on without replacing the GST-1060. That is the normal growth path: converters start with the cold foil configuration, then add hologram cast & cure when an anti-counterfeit account requires it. Two things to plan for at the first order: the additional module changes total connected load (approximately 75 kW for the cold foil line, 94 kW with hologram, 40 kW for the dedicated spot UV line), and line height, conveyor speed and electrical specification are customisable — so tell us at quotation stage which modules you expect to add, and the first line is laid out to receive them.
What sheet size, speed and registration accuracy do the lines deliver?
Maximum sheet is B1 format, 1060×740 mm. The stop-cylinder screen press base runs up to 4,000 sheets/h with registration accuracy of ≤0.1 mm — the tolerance premium decoration actually requires. Spot UV and hologram transfer run at up to 4,000 sheets/h; cold foil stamping runs at 2,500 sheets/h. On the dedicated spot UV line the curing tunnel gives 1,100 mm effective curing width with conveyor speed adjustable 0–50 m/min, and a dedicated wrinkle-effect lamp set produces tactile matte-on-gloss finishes. Cold-air paper receiving is standard across the lines, which prevents post-cure sheet deformation before the stack goes to die-cutting.
Can the line connect to presses I already own?
Yes — the lines are designed to be spliced into an existing post-press section rather than replace it. They connect to offset printing presses (Heidelberg, KBA, Komori, Mitsubishi), to single-colour gravure presses, and to spot UV / IR varnishing and curing units. Line height, conveyor speed and electrical specification are all matched to your factory’s existing equipment baseline at the configuration stage. Send us a layout of the presses and the floor space the line has to fit into, and the proposal comes back with a line drawing rather than a generic footprint.
Lead time, certification and delivery to Russia?
Payment terms: 30% T/T deposit, 70% T/T before shipment. Production: 40–60 working days from receipt of deposit, confirmed at quotation. Shipment: by vessel to St. Petersburg or Novorossiysk, typically 35–45 days transit. Certification: CE as standard; EAC conformity for the Russian Customs Union is arranged through our partner HD RUS LLC (Khimki, Moscow region), 30–45 days, included in the standard project schedule.
