The SAGLIN Screen Cold Foil & Hologram Transfer Line pairs the SAGLIN-GST-1060 full-automatic stop-cylinder screen press with the SAGLIN-GUVY-1060ACS inline unit — the flagship configuration that runs cold foil stamping, hologram cast & cure transfer, and spot UV varnishing on a single B1 pass.

Hologram transfer is achieved by cast & cure: a holographic pattern is cast into a UV-curable adhesive and cured in place. The result has a tear-and-no-film characteristic that cannot be replicated by composite lamination, and the laser pattern is recyclable — only the laser text and graphics remain on the product, which is friendlier to recycling and degradation than a laminated film.

Combined with cold foil’s metallic effects and spot UV gloss, the ACS line delivers the layered, hard-to-copy decoration that high-value brands rely on for both shelf appeal and anti-counterfeit security — all in one inline pass, eliminating multi-station logistics.

Every line ships with electrical and pneumatic specifications adapted for the Russian and CIS markets (380V / 50Hz, EAC support). Installation, commissioning, and operator training are handled by our partner HD RUS LLC in the Moscow region.

Maximum speed depends on paper specification, UV varnish viscosity, cold foil adhesive, and transfer film. Cold foil requires paper of 128 g/m² or above. Under test conditions (90–150 g/m², working format ≤ 600 × 500 mm) sustained hologram speed is around 3,000 sheets/h and cold foil around 1,000 sheets/h. What is the realistic production speed?
Spot UV and hologram transfer reach up to 4,000 sheets/h; cold foil stamping runs at up to 2,500 sheets/h, since foil transfer needs more dwell time. Under test conditions (90–150 g/m², format ≤ 600 × 500 mm) sustained hologram speed is around 3,000 sheets/h and cold foil around 1,000 sheets/h. Real throughput depends on paper weight, coverage, adhesive, and film. Cold foil requires paper of 128 g/m² or above.
How does the hologram cast & cure transfer work?
A holographic pattern is cast into a UV-curable adhesive on the sheet and cured in place — no pre-made holographic film is laminated on. This gives a tear-and-no-film result that composite lamination cannot replicate, and only the laser pattern remains on the product, which is friendlier to recycling and degradation. Localised laser graphics can be placed at specific positions for anti-counterfeit identification.
Should I choose the CS line or this ACS line?
Choose the ACS line when you regularly need hologram security or run jobs that combine cold foil and hologram on the same packaging — tobacco, alcohol, pharma, high-value cosmetics. If you only need metallic cold foil plus gloss, the lower-investment SAGLIN-GUVY-CS line covers that, and the modular splicing design lets you add the hologram module later. The cold foil unit on the ACS line also retains the foil return & step function for foil savings.
What is the lead time and payment structure?
Lead time: 45–60 days from receipt of 30% deposit. Payment terms: 30% T/T down payment, 70% T/T before shipment. Shipment: by vessel on pallets to St. Petersburg or Novorossiysk (typically 35–45 days transit). Warranty: 12 months from acceptance. Quote validity is 6 months from issue date.
Is the line EAC certified for the Russian market?
The line carries CE certification from factory. EAC certification (Russian Customs Union conformity declaration) is arranged through our partner HD RUS LLC in the Moscow region as part of the turnkey delivery package. Estimated certification lead time: 30–45 days, included in our standard project schedule.
Can the line connect to my existing offset press?
Yes. The cold foil & spot UV unit connects to fully automatic screen printing, UV spot varnishing, offset, and single-color gravure presses. Line height is customisable to match your existing equipment. We provide a floor layout drawing as part of the quotation.
What installation and training is included?
Installation is performed by SAGLIN engineers with HD RUS local support. The customer covers round-trip tickets, hotel, and meals for the engineers. Operator training is 5 working days, conducted in Russian by HD RUS technical staff in Khimki, including substrate, foil selection, UV varnish formulation, and cold foil adhesive application.
