- Pressing. The married sheets pass through a pressing section — pressure rollers followed by a weighted or pneumatic press belt — so the adhesive bonds evenly without crushing the flutes.
- Stacking and delivery. Finished sheets are counted and stacked, ready for die-cutting.
Because the adhesive is water-based, laminated sheets can typically be die-cut after a short curing time, keeping the lamination step from becoming a bottleneck in the workflow.
Flute laminator, litho laminator, cardboard laminator — what’s the difference?
